Orthodontics resident Dr. Nancy Huynh receives AAO award

Nancy HuynhCongratulations to Dr. Nancy Huynh, a third year resident in the University of Florida Department of Orthodontics, for being selected for the Thomas M. Graber Awards of Special Merit from the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). She received the award for her project, “Osteoclast-derived exosomes: novel regulators of bone remodeling and markers of resorption” which was mentored by Dr. Shannon Holliday.

“We are very proud of Nancy’s efforts and having her represent our department and college on a national level,” said Cal Dolce, D.D.S., Ph.D., chair of the UF Department of Orthodontics.

The award will be presented during the 2014 AAO Annual Session in New Orleans, La., in November.
