Applications are open for the Summer Learning Program at the University of Florida College of Dentistry 2014 program scheduled for July 7-25, 2014.

This program allows pre-dental students to learn more about the dental profession and help them become stronger dental school applicants. Selected students spend three weeks at UF participating in dental workshops, rotations through UF’s various specialty dental clinics, simulation lab projects, networking activities and more.

Participants also become stronger dental school applicants through interview, financial aid and Dental Aptitude Test workshops. The three-week program is free for accepted applicants and also covers the cost of room and board. SLP targets, but is not limited to, students of educationally or economically disadvantaged backgrounds and/or of ethnic minority status.

Completed applications must be submitted by March 7, 2014; accepted participants will be notified in early May 2014. The application and more information can be found on our website here.
