Wong earns prosthodontics board certification
Congratulations to Fong Wong, D.D.S., M.S., B.S.D., C.A.G.S., an associate professor in the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences, Prosthodontics Division, who recently earned board certification from the American Board of Prosthodontics.
She is also a Full Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Wong joined the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2004. She earned her bachelor’s in Pharmacology and her doctorate of dental surgery at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She earned her certification in advanced graduate study in prosthodontics, her master of science in dentistry from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and her fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the University of Chicago Hospitals.
The mission of the American Board of Prosthodontics is to certify individuals who have demonstrated special knowledge and skills in prosthodontics. The board also seeks to certify those who are committed to life-long learning and a lifetime of ethical practices, who value the doctor/patient relationship, who respect those with philosophical, cultural or physical differences and who are committed to the advancement of prosthodontics.
