The votes are in and the University of Florida’s Frank Catalanotto wins Dr.Bicuspid.com’s 2013 Dental Excellence Award for Most Influential Dental Researcher.
Frank Catalanotto, D.M.D., a professor and chair of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science, was one of 15 dental researchers nominated for the award.
“DrBicuspid is read by a large number of practicing clinicians, so it is really nice to be recognized by this group of dentists,” Catalanotto said.
Catalanotto joined the college in 1995. He earned his dental degree from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1968 and was a research fellow at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Boston, Mass.
