2012 UF Predental Fair

On Oct. 10, more than 120 undergraduate students interested in learning more about dental school and how to apply, attended the University of Florida Predental Fair.

The fair was organized by the UF College of Dentistry Office of Admissions and, although it was only advertised on the UF campus, students arrived from all over the state to learn more about how to build a successful dental school application and what dental school is really like from the “experts” in attendance.

The experts included current students, faculty, and staff who shared information about financial aid, the admissions process, research programs, advanced education options and more.

“I was so impressed with this lively, informative and well attended event,” said Teresa A. Dolan, D.D.S., M.P.H., professor and dean of the college.  “The team from admissions did a phenomenal job.”

The UF College of Dentistry selects about 80 D.M.D. students each year from an applicant pool of about 1,500. To learn more, visit the Admissions pages on our web site.
