Class of 2014 celebrates 100% pass rate

We’re so proud of the members of our DMD Class of 2014! The University of Florida College of Dentistry students achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate on their National Board Dental Exam Part I.

“This is quite an accomplishment. We are very proud of the students and I truly appreciate the hard work of the faculty who support our students in their dental education,” said Teresa A. Dolan, D.D.S., M.P.H., professor and dean of the college.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that the college’s students have achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate.  Summary reports from the American Dental Association show that the UF College of Dentistry’s students performance was better than the national average.

The class enjoyed a brief celebration on July 13 that included a special appearance from The Mighty Molar, some warm cookies, drinks and heartfelt congratulations from faculty and staff.
