On Saturday, March 29, a team of 15 College of Dentistry members was part of the more than 6,000 people who walked eight miles that morning in support of the March of Dimes in Gainesville.
The COD team raised more than $2,000 to help support the March of Dimes efforts to help prevent premature births, support the costs associated with caring for premature babies, and to raise awareness of the issues surrounding this cause.
Thank you to everyone from Dentistry who supported this effort and represented our college for an important community event. Included in that is our own Sam Brill, who has been volunteering to take photos for the March for Babies since it started more than 20 years ago and took this great shot of our team.
