Samuel B. Low, D.D.S., M.S., M.Ed., a professor of periodontology, has been appointed associate dean for continuing education and strategic partnerships. This represents a new and important initiative for the college of providing a faculty liaison for the college’s existing and developing relationships with professional organizations, the state legislature and corporate sponsors. Low will work closely with the university’s office of university relations and the Health Science Center’s office of governmental relations to assure the college’s legislative budget requests and corporate relationships are in alignment with the university’s over-arching strategic initiatives.
